We are introducing new features this month to increase capacity on school scheduling teams this spring. Following a limited release last year, these features have been fine-tuned with the help of our partners’ testing and feedback and are ready for the entire Abl community!
Advanced Course Recommendations
Ensuring Meaningful Academic Intensity for Every Student
Boosting counseling team capacity, this new feature leverages AI to offer actionable course recommendations based on students’ transcripts and course request data. Which these recommendations, scheduling teams can easily identify areas where students would thrive with an upgrade to advanced courses, such as Honors or AP.

- Driven by Predictive Analytics: Aligned with Abl’s research-backed Academic Intensity Measure, the recommendations are highly predictive of student success in college and career
Action Plan Tracker
Monitoring Progress Towards Readiness Goals
The Action Plan Tracker is a personalized goal-tracking system designed to measure progress towards specific college and career readiness goals outlined in scheduling teams’ Abl Action Plans. Fueled by real-time data, this tool empowers teams to analyze course requests and enrollments for the upcoming academic year, comparing them to the current year.
- Dynamic Analysis: The Action Plan Tracker facilitates dynamic analysis, enabling teams to easily identify areas where progress may be stalled.
- Informed Decision-Making: With this information at their fingertips, teams can make prompt and informed decisions to realign scheduling efforts, ensuring they stay on the right track to meet their objectives.
